Reminder: Measles (fever, GI symptoms, rash, malaise) MUST BE REPORTED TO THE STATE MED EPI ONCALL.
If the callers call from home, tell them to STAY HOME if possible until a MED EPI contacts them. Look at the MED EPI ONCALL SCHEDULE, call and notify them immediately of the symptomatic patient. Leave a message if they do not answer the phone initially, identify yourself as the public health hotline.
If people call to report that they have NO SYMPTOMS but are under the current 21-DAY ACTIVE MONITORING, take their information, their current temps, etc, and EMAIL the info chart to the public health email address that pre-populates in the ToxSentry email function.
